Verecloud, Inc. (VCLD) Launches Cloud Services Management Platform for the Spiceworks Community

QualityStocks would like to highlight Verecloud, Inc.(OTCBB: VCLD), an innovative technology company that developed and operates Nimbus CSB, a cloud service brokerage platform that integrates cloud service suppliers and connects to SMBs through multiple distribution channels.

In the company’s news,

Verecloud recently announced the launch of its cloud services management platform for the Spiceworks Community, a fast growing social business network for IT professionals in the world.

Over 1.4 million SMB IT professionals, who represent companies that spend an average of $132,000 each on IT each year, depend on Spiceworks to manage their IT services and infrastructure. Verecloud will be using Spiceworks Vendor Pages and various other social marketing programs in order to distribute services through the Spiceworks Community.

Cloud adoption has taken off faster than even the most domineering of forecasts. The global market for cloud spending has been expected to exceed $150 billion, an increase from the $59 billion in 2009. In accordance to a recently released State of SMB IT technology survey conducted from the Spiceworks Voice of IT® Market Research Program, overall IT budgets have exhibited their largest growth in more than 18 months, twice as many medium and small businesses (SMB) IT professionals are utilizing cloud solutions today in comparison to the second half of 2010, hosted IT/cloud services (26%) and software (34%) comprise 60% of total IT budgets, and 26 percent of IT budgets are now earmarked for hosted and cloud services, a 37 percent increase from last year’s 19 percent.

SMBs with fewer than 500 employees represent an undeserved market for cloud services, and the expense of integration further hinders the adoption of the new service. Furthermore, SMBs are discovering that it is extremely difficult to make sense of the rapidly growing market of cloud services. Verecloud’s platform alleviates all of these difficulties and offers SMBs with capabilities that are available to larger enterprises.

“We are going to market in this exciting community with the first version of our platform that makes it easier for SMBs (small to medium businesses) to shop for, select, purchase, manage and monitor the performance of their cloud services and related spending through a single portal and pay for these services from a single bill,” said Brad Hoffman, vice president of strategic partnerships at Verecloud.

“Our goal is to serve as ‘Everything IT’ for small businesses worldwide,” said Jay Hallberg, co-founder and vice president of Marketing at Spiceworks. “Working together with Verecloud, we’re getting Spiceworks IT professionals involved in the research & development cycle to ensure new products are designed with their specific needs in mind — a winning scenario for both IT vendors and their customers.”
