To better understand why our Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Center functions and is so successful, it is primary due to extensive research that we have conducted which revealed the importance of comprehending the psychology behind the addiction. The conventional treatment and recovery facilities only treat the physical aspects of the individual’s addiction and never focus on the emotional and mental aspects of the addiction. They typically utilize traditional therapies such as the 12-Step Program.
Unfortunately, the majorities of the persons who return to society eventually relapse and begin using alcohol and drugs again once they leave the traditional facility. Sometimes, the abuse begins almost immediately afterwards. Our certified and licensed staff members here at our Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Center are knowledgeable in numerous treatment and recovery therapies. Additionally, some of our own staff members have gone through alcohol and drug rehab programs and recovered.
Our Non-12 Step treatment programs offer a step-by-step process in which the client attends 8 different courses in order to achieve a successful recovery from their alcohol or drug addictions. These 8 different courses include the following titles:
- Better Communication and Perception Techniques
- Detoxification for a New Life
- Finding the Way to Happiness
- Improving One’s Learning Capabilities
- Life’s Changing Conditions
- Life’s Ups and Downs
- Personal Integrity and Values
- Therapeutic Training Methods
These 8 classes in our Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Center are:
Detoxification for a New Life – addresses the emotional and mental aspects of the addiction as well as the physical ones.
Therapeutic Training Methods – focuses on addictive substances that the client has been using so they can avoid disconcerting feelings or situations.
Life’s Changing Conditions – teaches a client how to cope with changing conditions in life such as circumstances, events, and people who try to affect the outcome of one’s thinking.
Personal Integrity and Values – instructs the client how to be accountable and responsible for their actions.
Improving One’s Learning Capabilities – enables the client to re-learn critical information that leads to successful treatment and recovery.
Life’s Ups and Downs – instructs clients in the ways to cope with the life’s ups and downs.
Finding the Way to Happiness – discusses the wrong “life codes” that we adopt rather than the correct ones.
Better Communication and Perception Techniques – provides the client with a way to deal with the present instead of their past.
The residential setting or our facility not only provides the client with a more comfortable experience when first entering our facility, but it is much less intimidating as well. It is the primary reason why our Alcohol and Drug Rehab Center enjoys an average 70% success rate – one of the highest in the US. The research we have conducted where Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Centers are concerned revealed that most addictions stem from the onset of depression. This is twice as common among females as it is with males. Our certified and licensed staff members conduct and supervise our programs and are skilled at discovering when depression exists.
