Sen. Ted Kennedy reportedly suffered a seizure while attending the presidential
luncheon for Barack Obama and was taken from the room in a wheelchair.
Kennedy
was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor last May and his return to the
Senate has been a lengthy process as he returns to health. According to reports
Kennedy had been at the luncheon after witnessing Obama’s inauguration and was
telling stories with others attending the luncheon when he was struck by a
seizure.
Reports
have suggested that Kennedy was feeling better shortly after leaving the room.
The
76-year-old Kennedy has served in the U.S. Senate since 1962.
