Delta Air Lines Passenger Arrested after Opening Emergency Door on Plane

A Delta Air Lines passenger was arrested on Tuesday afternoon after he opened an emergency exit door and walked onto the plane’s wing while the aircraft was taxied at its gate.

According to reports the Delta flight had arrived at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport from Salt Lake City and taxied to its gate. Passengers were in the process of getting off the plane when the 37-year-old man opened the door and made his way onto the wing.

Police arrested the man and he was being questioned by federal authorities.
