Walter and Sharon Clark filed a lawsuit against nine different oil and refinery companies for damages related to her husband’s asbestos induced ailments. Asbestos is often used in the oil refinery industry due to its fire retardant properties. The lawsuit names Exxon Mobil Corp., Chevron, Gulf Oil Corp., Mobil Refining Corp., Mobil Chemical, Texaco and Union Oil if California plus three other defendants.
Walter Clark worked for years using the asbestos materials manufactured by the defendants in the lawsuit.
