Soul Singer Jill Scott stages a comeback

Jill Scott is releasing her first album in over four years. The singer is on the cover this month’s Ebony magazine and in addition to promoting a new album she wants to show of her new physique. Her new album The Light of the Sun comes out in June.

The soul singer was once an advocate for the plus-size woman, and publicly promoted the importance of a positive self-image. She has dropped 50 pounds and looks better than ever. She is the smallest she has been in 20 years and is pleased with her success. She attributes her weight loss to her trainer who made workouts fun.

Losing weight is difficult for most people whether it is five pounds or fifty pounds. Even with calorie reduction and regular workouts many people are still unsatisfied with the way they look. Exercise can trim up the body but there are areas on the body exercise can’t reduce as efficiently as most would like.
