Olympic wrestler dies in Oklahoma motorcycle accident

Doug Blubaugh, 76, was involved in a motorcycle accident in Tonkawa, Oklahoma which cost him his life. Blubaugh, who won a Gold Medal for wrestling in the 1960 Olympics, was killed when his motorcycle was struck by a passenger truck, according to KOCO in Oklahoma City. Blubaugh was well-respected and loved by many people in his community and the wrestling world.

It is unclear if the diver of the truck was injured. Blubaugh was immediately taken to the hospital where he died a few hours later. According to police, no drugs or alcohol were involved. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
