Serena
Williams is on to the third round at the Australian Open but she had to fight to
get there with a 6-3, 7-5 battle against Gisela Dulko in Melbourne.
Williams seemed to solve some of the problems she had with her serve as she collected 8 aces and won 87 percent of her first serves put in play. While Williams had 18 break point opportunities against Dulko she converted just four times, something she would like to improve on in the third round.
Williams
has won nine Grand Slam singles titles including a career Grand Slam. She owns
three U.S. Open titles, a French Open title, two Wimbledon titles, and three
Australian Open titles. Williams only title in 2008 was a win at the U.S. Open.
