The couples combined assets are thought to be between $200 to $400 billion dollars. In California, the total assets of many divorces are divided in half. That would shrink Arnold’s fortune considerably.
At the heart of the Shriver-Schwarzenegger divorce will be the custody of their minor children. Shriver has yet to file for divorce, but since she hired a divorce lawyer that announcement may come soon. Only a small percentage of marriages survive after infidelity.
