Blake Griffin scored 20 points and grabbed 17 rebounds while his brother, Taylor Griffin, added 18 points and 7 rebounds and Austin Johnson dished out 7 assists while scoring 8 points as the #5 Oklahoma Sooners (19-1, 5-0) crushed the #23 Baylor Bears (15-4, 3-2) 95-76 on Saturday.
Baylor stayed close for the first six minutes of the opening half but the Sooners used a 17-5 run backed by 8 points from Willie Warren to grab a 28-16 lead. Oklahoma had a series of runs in the first half and led by as many as 28 before heading to the locker room with a 58-31 advantage.
Oklahoma never allowed the Bears to come close in the second half as they built their lead to 30 points.
Oklahoma shot 58 percent from the field and hit 46 percent of their three-point attempts while Baylor hit just 34 percent from the field despite 26 points from Curtis Jerrells and 20 points from LaceDarius Dunn.
