Novak Djokovic has reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open after a four set victory over Marcos Baghdatis 6-1, 7-6 (7-1), 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, moving one step closer to collecting his second career Grand Slam singles title.

Djokavic overcame 12 aces from Baghdatis by controlling his own serve and allowing just five break point opportunities, from which Baghdatis earned one break. The Serb managed to break Baghdatis five times on 17 opportunities.
