Terry Hanlon of Dillon Gage Metals Slated to Speak at May 26 LBMA Forum in Shanghai

Hanlon’s talk will focus on precious metals demand outside of China

Terry Hanlon, president of Dillon Gage Metals, the Dallas-based, precious-metals trading firm, is scheduled to speak at the London Bullion Market Association's Market Forum in Shanghai, China, on Thursday, May 26. He will discuss precious metals demand outside of China in an afternoon panel on supply and demand.

The event, held at the Pudong Shangri-la Hotel, will focus on issues in the precious metals business in China that are of interest to market participants there and in countries that trade with China.

“China is integral to world trade in precious metals and is a rapidly growing source of bullion demand,” Hanlon said. “I look forward to meeting with and, of course, collaborating with my colleagues in the Far East and other regions.”

Additional speakers on the May 26 supply-demand panel are Philip Klapwijk, Executive Chairman of GFMS Limited in London, and Ruth Crowell, Commercial Director of the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA).

The LBMA is a wholesale, over-the-counter market for trading gold and silver. Dillon Gage is an associate member of the group. The LBMA's membership stands at over 120 companies—mostly international banks, bullion dealers and refiners—in 20 countries.

A copy of Hanlon’s speech will be available online at www.DillonGage.com/PressRoom on Friday, May 27.
