John Updike, Pulitzer Prize Winning Author, Dies at 76

John Updike, the Pulitzer Prize winning author of Rabbit is Rich and Rabbit at Rest, has died at the age of 76 after a long fight with lung cancer.

Updike was widely considered one of the greatest authors of his generation as he produced work in short story form, poetry, art criticism, literary criticism, nonfiction and fiction. Updike penned more than 25 novels over his career.
