Los Angeles Father Shoots and Kills Wife and Five Children Before Turning Gun on Himself

A Los Angeles father who shot and killed his wife and five children before turning the gun on himself had sent a suicide note to a television station that explained his decision.

Police found the bodies of all seven family members inside their home in the Wilmington area of LA and a revolver was found near the body of the father. According to the suicide note sent to the TV station the man said that he, along with his wife, had just been laid off as medical technicians at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center.

The letter went on to say that it was the wife who suggested shooting the couple’s 8-year-old daughter, twin 5-year-old daughters and twin 2-year-old sons. According to the letter the couple did not want to leave the children to a stranger.
