Cisco Systems Inc (NASDAQ:CSCO) to Release Q2FY09 Earnings February 4

Cisco Systems, Inc (NASDAQ:CSCO) will release the second quarter fiscal year earnings for 2009 on Wednesday, February 4.  A conference call will be heald that afternoon at 1:30 pm PT to discuss the financial results.  A webcast of the presentation will be available at investor.cisco.com.

Cisco Systems is involved the design, manufacture and sale of Internet protocol (IP) based networking and other products related to the communications and information technology (IT) industry, in addition to the provision of services associated with these products.  Designed to transform how people connect, communicate and collaborate, the Cisco line of products is used for the transportation of data, voice and video within buildings, across campuses, and around the world.  Products include routers, switches installed at enterprises, public institutions, telecommunications companies, commercial businesses and personal residences.  The company conducts business globally and is managed in the United States and Canada, European Markets, Emerging Markets, Asia Pacific and Japan.  Cisco acquired Jabber Inc in November 2008.
