Phish Tickets on Sale as Band Reunites for Run of U.S. Shows, Open March 6 in Hampton, Virginia

After a nearly five year hiatus Phish will be reuniting for a run of U.S. shows with an opening date scheduled for March 6 in Hampton, Virginia. Phish will play three shows at the Hampton Coliseum on March 6, 7 and 8 and then take another three months off before picking back up in June in New York.

Rumors have begun to circulate that Phish will be headlining at Bonnaroo 2009 which is scheduled from June 11-14.

Phish formed in 1983 by guitarists Trey Anastasio and Jeff Holdsworth, bassist Mike Gordon and drummer Jon Fishmanwhile while they attended the University of Vermont. For the next 20 years the band established one of the most loyal fan followings of any band until announcing a break in August 2004.

In addition to their shows in Virginia and New York Phish will be in Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Wisconsin. All tickets will be gong on sale Friday and Saturday.
