4.5 Earthquake Shakes Seattle

A 4.5-magnitude earthquake shook Seattle, Washington early Friday morning. The earthquake was centered around 14 miles outside the city in Kingston. It was felt throughout the Puget Sound area and up to Victoria, British Columbia.

Seattle residents reported being shaken awake and say the earthquake lasted around 10 to 15 seconds. No major damages, injuries or deaths have been reports.
