Bus Crash Carrying Chinese Tourists Crashes in Arizona, Seven Dead, Several More Injured

A bus carrying several Chinese tourists from the Grand Canyon crashed along U.S. 93 on Friday night, killing at least seven people and leaving ten others injured.

 

Investigators have yet to determine what caused the tour bus to overturn while it was traveling near the Hoover Dam. Several of the passengers were thrown from the bus and six were pronounced dead at the scene while the seventh died at a hospital.

 

According to reports the Chinese nationals had arrived in San Francisco and had traveled from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon and were on their way back when the accident occurred. It is believed that the bus had veered to the right and the driver overcorrected, crossed eth median and flipped.
