The International School Of Body Art - USA, is pleased to announce the opening of a tattoo school that will give you the ability to achieve your goal of entering this exciting career field. The program offered gives students complete training in every aspect of the art of tattooing.
The program provides students with 600 hours of training that includes a week at the school site. Since the regulations for licensure are different in different states, the instructor adjusts training to meet individual needs of students. When a student participates in the program, they also are provided with the ability to discuss challenges or have questions answered by the instructor for a year.
Classes at the tattoo school are kept small, with one to six students who work closely with Gary Gray, Jr., a world renowned tattoo artist. The Tattoo Apprenticeship Certificate provides students with an understanding of the tattoo machine and how it functions as well as a greater understanding of the various styles and techniques used in the industry today.
Basic drawing for tattoo composition, lettering, line drawing and neatness are also taught as students get hands-on experience working in a real tattoo shop. Students are given the option to spend 5 or 10 days in the tattoo shop where they learn the fundamentals required to build a successful business, how to provide effective customer service and all aspects of working in and running a tattoo shop.
Included with the formal coursework, you also receive 13.5 hours of step-by-step video instruction on DVD.
