It
seems the David Beckham experiment on American soil could be short lived as the
English soccer star has expressed a desire to get out of his Los Angeles Galaxy
contract and remain with AC Milan of Italy’s Serie A.
Beckham
has been on loan to AC Milan since the end of the Galaxy’s season in the MLS
and after Wednesday’s match in Scotland the 33-year-old made it known he would
rather remain with Italy, believing it would give him a better opportunity to
play for England during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
AC
Milan has also made it known that they would like Beckham on their roster but
it will come down to whether or not they can reach a deal with Los Angeles to
make the transfer happen. Beckham is due to return to the Galaxy on March 9
when his loan expires.
