Even models have liposuction to improve their bodies

By: Daun Lee

So many women envy the figures models have and think they are blessed with a perfect body. Model Nicole Silva, who wears a size two, however feels as though her body needs some improvement.

Silva works out regularly, but is unhappy with her thighs. She revealed on the Today Show that she underwent a mini-liposuction, which is less invasive than traditional liposuction and takes less than an hour to perform.

Dr. David Amron of Beverly Hills did the procedure on Silva. According to Dr. Amron many of the clients who are having liposuction are slender and don’t have weight problems.

“Somebody can be thin, like Nicole, and have stubborn disproportionate areas of fat and that can be the perfect candidate for liposuction,” says Dr. Armon, “It’s all about my role in terms of rebalancing her body.”

Dr. Armon also states that having liposuction is less about weight loss than balancing the body’s proportions. For many men and women balancing their bodies can be difficult. Like Nicole, numerous people spend hour upon hour at the gym trying to achieve the perfect body. We will also subject ourselves to different diets in the interest of achieving the perfect figure. Genetics and nature can sometimes work against us.

Liposuction gives people the opportunity to improve their appearance when exercise and diet have not met their expectations. Looking better can help improve a person’s self-esteem even a model’s.
