Casey Anthony Case: Grandmother of Caylee Anthony Pens Public Eulogy, Says Granddaughter “Now Has Her Angel Wings.”

Cindy Anthony, the grandmother of murdered two-year-old Caylee Anthony, issued a public eulogy for her granddaughter declaring that her life did not end “without a purpose” and she would be “watching over so many other children.”

The eulogy was published in the Orlando Sentinel on Sunday, two days ahead of a scheduled public memorial for Caylee Anthony. In the eulogy Cindy Anthony declared that Caylee now had “her angel wings.”

Caylee disappeared last June but wasn’t reported missing by her mother, Casey Anthony, for more than a month. Casey told investigators she had dropped her daughter off with a babysitter and when she returned both were gone.

In December the remains of Caylee were found by a meter reader in a wooded area less than a half mile from the Orlando home she lived in with her mother and grandparents. Casey Anthony is now facing murder charges.

Cindy Anthony has said her granddaughter’s memory will live on through the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation which will “continue to generate awareness for missing children and to establish programs to assist in the well-being of those children in need of comfort and support during difficult and stressful times.”
