Seven people die on Kansas roads in a single day

By: Daun Lee

The roads of Kansas weren’t safe for motorists on Tuesday. In the state seven people were killed in four separate accidents.

Kansas Highway Patrol reported that three people in Rush County were killed Tuesday night around 8pm in an accident involving a John Deere tractor and a pick-up truck. The driver of the tractor survived but three men in pick-up lost their lives. The driver of the pick-up has suffered disabling injuries. People who become disabled in a traffic collision may need to seek the advice of an accident attorney to recoup their lost income.

Another accident in Topeka cost a father and his son their lives. The accident involved a skid-loader, driven by the father; neither of the two occupants was wearing safety restraints.

A two car head on collision and another roll-over accident took the lives of two young women.

Traffic accidents are a fact of life, but many accidents can be prevented. Oftentimes these collisions are caused by the negligence or inaction of the drivers. Accident victims can incur serious financial burdens from medical bills, loss of wages or the loss of their primary caregiver. These people can seek compensation for their injuries by hiring an accident attorney, who has the experience necessary to prove negligence.

With the help of accident lawyers, people who have been injured can be awarded much needed compensatory damages to pay medical bills and replace income.
