The second man to step on the moon, Buzz Aldrin, filed for divorce from his third wife. He stated irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce, which was filed Wednesday in Los Angeles.
Buzz, 81, married Lois Diggs, on Valentine’s Day in 1988. Their marriage lasted for 23 years. Aldrin’s first wife was Joan Archer, they have three children. His second wife was Beverly Zile.
Lois and Buzz separated on Tuesday, just one day before he filed the divorce petition.
Buzz has been enjoying some new found attention by competing in season 10 of Dancing with the Stars. Though he was eliminated in the second round, he was brought back into the spotlight.
