Kobe Bryant scored 34 points and grabbed 7 rebounds, Lamar Odom added 12 points and 18 boards and Pau Gasol finished with 22 points and 14 rebounds as the Los Angeles Lakers (42-9) knocked off the Oklahoma City Thunder (13-39) 105-98 for their seventh straight win.
Oklahoma City was actually in front 43-41 with 5:33 left in the second quarter but the Lakers closed the half on a 19-4 run to go into the break in front 60-47. The Thunder climbed back to within 72-69 in the third but LA managed to extend their lead to 80-73 heading into the final frame.
In the fourth quarter the Lakers pushed their advantage to as many as 12 and kept the Thunder at a comfortable distance.
The Lakers managed to grab the win despite hitting just 5-20 from beyond the three-point line and 10-17 from the free-throw line. Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 31 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
