Tim Duncan scored 27 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished out 8 assists, Matt Bonner added 22 points on 8-10 shooting including 4-5 from beyond the three-point line and Tony Parker finished with 20 points as the San Antonio Spurs (35-15) went on the road and beat the New Jersey Nets (24-29) 108-93 on Tuesday.
Duncan scored 13 points in the opening frame as the Spurs carried a 28-21 lead into the second quarter but a 15-point quarter from Vince Carter kept the Nets close as they went into the break trailing 54-51.
New Jersey stayed within three early in the second half but a 13-2 run from the Spurs put the score at 73-59 and the Nets were never closer than ten the rest of the way.
The Spurs hit 52 percent from the floor including 44 percent from long-range. San Antonio finished 18-20 from the free-throw line while the Nets attempted just nine from the stripe.
