eBook selling locations.
In addition to Google, First Edition Design, Inc., a Master Distributor for eBooks,
submits properly formatted eBook files to: Apple’s iBookstore, Amazon Kindle,
Barnes & Noble Nook, Border’s Kobo, Sony, Diesel and to over 1,000 other
eBook distribution points including libraries, schools and on-line retailers
selling eBooks.
Google allows book lovers to access their eBooks wirelessly world-wide. Google
eBooks stores the reader’s library in a digital cloud, which can be accessed by
most devices with an internet connection. Google eBooks is compatible with
Android phones, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, web browsers and many supported
eReaders.
The free Google Books reading app can downloaded and installed on any U.S.
Android phone that is running version 2.1 (Eclair) or later and has access to
the Android Market, or on the iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. (iOS 3.0 or later).
Google eBooks can be read with any dedicated eBook reader that supports the
Adobe eBook platform including the Barnes & Noble Nook™ and Readers™ from
Sony. More than 85 devices support the Adobe eBook platform including Reader™
from Sony devices (PRS-300 - PRS-700), Aluratek Libre, Astak EZ Reader, Barnes
& Noble Nook™ and Nook Color™, BeBook, Bookeen, COOL-ER, Elonex eBook,
HanLin eBook, IREX Digital Reader, Neolux Nuut, and others. Currently, Google
eBooks are not compatible with Amazon Kindle devices, although Google is open
to supporting them in the future.
