Williams scored 13 points in the opening frame but the Suns hung right with the Cavs and the score was tied 29-29 heading into the second. Cleveland then closed the quarter on a 16-6 spurt with Williams scoring 11 of those points.
Phoenix managed to get as close as five in the third quarter but once again the Cavs used a run as Williams and LeBron paced Cleveland in a 15-3 run to end the quarter and carry a commanding 87-71 lead into the fourth and Phoenix never challenged again.
