Mental Health Experts to Convene In Florida

“The Power, Fame and Recovery: Addiction, Health and Wellness in the Public Eye” conference is scheduled for September 2011 in Palm Beach, Florida, allowing mental health professionals to explore the dynamics of addiction and the unique treatment challenges faced by people of influence.

June 21, 2011 – Nashville, TN – Foundations Recovery Network and MusiCares are proud to announce their 34th national conference on treatment and recovery, “Power, Fame and Recovery: Addiction, Health and Wellness in the Public Eye.” The annual event will return to the east coast and convene September 26-29, 2011, at The Breakers in Palm Beach, FL, providing professionals with an opportunity to investigate the barriers to effective treatment implicated by power, fame and wealth.

The Power, Fame and Recovery conference includes eight keynote addresses and 30 workshops led by more than 45 of the industry’s leading experts on addiction and recovery. Advances in addiction treatment are always occurring, so events like this one are particularly important for professionals to stay on top of the latest methods, clinical studies, trends and varying approaches to treatment.

Continuing education credits are also available, with the conference allowing attendees to gain valuable knowledge about the process of recovery as it relates to the addiction problems of public figures.

Many special networking events are scheduled such as a performance by the astoundingly talented Paul Williams and a Safe and Sober Night at The Breakers.
