Blake Griffin scored 40 points and grabbed 23 rebounds while brother Taylor Griffin added 9 points and 7 boards and Cade Davis chipped in 15 points as the #2 Oklahoma Sooners (25-1) blasted the Texas Tech Red Raiders (12-13) 95-74 in Big 12 action on Saturday.
Griffin scored 22 points in the opening half as the Sooners went into the break with a 49-39 lead. That lead was quickly inflated to 61-41 in the opening minutes of the second half and Oklahoma was never challenged the rest of the way.
Oklahoma finished the game hitting 53 percent from the floor including 8-19 from beyond the three-point line and they dominated the glass, holding a 47-24 advantage over the Red Raiders. The Sooners improved to 11-0 in Big 12 play while the Red Raiders dropped to 2-8 in conference play.
