Seton Hill University Student Shot and Killed by Police in Standoff

Police in Greensburg, PA shot and killed a Seton Hill University student early Sunday morning after a standoff in which the 22-year-old had threatened to harm his roommates.

According to reports police arrived at the residence after receiving a call about the threat. After three men and a woman fled the house Joseph Frederick Briggs began firing at the officers.

Briggs remained in the house for about three hours and after an exchange of gunfire he was struck and killed.
