UN Reveals Several Tons of Unexploded Munitions Missing in Gaza

The United Nations has announced that several tons of unexploded munitions that had been stockpiled in Gaza are now missing.

According to the UN the unexploded munitions had been under the watch of Hamas prior to their disappearance. The munitions included aircraft bombs and white phosphorous fired by Israel during their recent three-week assault in the Gaza Strip.

Now the UN is desperately trying to locate the munitions and have called for their immediate return but Israel has already blamed Hamas for the disappearance.

The weapons had been stored in a warehouse in Gaza City as UN officials had been waiting for specialist equipment to destroy the explosives safely.
