Surfing: Costa Rica is one of the hottest surf destination on the planet. With two coasts the country has numerous surf breaks for all levels of surfers. The water is warm and lessons (for those that need one) are available in most coastal cities.

Explore the Jungle on an ATV: This is one of the best ways to see the beautiful tropical scenery.  Ride an ATV through the jungles of Costa Rica. Stop at a beautiful natural swimming hole where you can swim and cool off.  Then ride to an amazing look out point where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the most beautiful waterfall in the area. Caving:  Limestone rocks, stalactites, stalagmites and corals, form most of the caves in the Venado and Barra Honda National Park systems.  The underground river forms the whimsical stone formations.  In the caves you will find marine fossils, bats, spiders and crickets.  You will walk through the river and waterfalls from the upper part of the cave.  This tour is not recommended for claustrophobic people or afraid of the dark.

Whitewater Rafting: There are numerous opportunities to explore the beautiful rivers of Costa Rica including the seven mile trip on the Sarapiqui River, a full day rafting trip on on class III and IV rapids of the Rio Toro, experience the best white water rafting on Costa Rica’s Colorado River or the mighty Reventazón River is some of the fastest and best 10 miles of Class III rapids.

Scuba Diving: Divers will see soft and hard coral formations and an abundance of finned residents. Angelfish, parrot fish, and moray eels, as well as a random sighing of a sea turtle. Equipment rental is available and includes everything you will need.
