Brad Van Pelt Dies at 58

Football star Brad Van Pelt has reportedly died. According to reports, Van Pelt died suddenly Tuesday of a heart attack. He was 58.

No other details about his death were available.

Van Pelt played for Michigan State University before moving on to the NFL. He played 14 seasons in the NFL, playing for the New York Giants from 1972 to 1983, the Los Angeles Raiders from 1984 to 1985 and the Cleveland Browns in 1986. Van Pelt was chosen to play in the Pro Bowl five times.
