The
first-degree murder case against Casey Anthony appears to be getting tighter as
investigators have revealed that evidence found on and near the remains of
2-year-old Caylee Anthony are an identical match to items inside the Orlando home
they shared with Casey’s parents, George and Cindy Anthony.
Investigators
matched a laundry bag and plastic bag found at the scene with similar bags at the
house and, perhaps more telling, they were able to match the duct tape found on
the Caylee’s skull to duct tape found on a gas can at the home.
Caylee
Anthony disappeared last June, just shy of her third birthday. After months of
searching for the little girl her remains were found in December, scattered in
wooded area less than a half mile from where she lived.
Casey
Anthony, 22, has denied any involvement in her daughter’s death, maintaining
that she dropped her off with a babysitter and when she returned both were
gone.
