Larry Flynt’s magazine Hustler, was the center of controversy since its inception in the seventies. He won many legal battles to keep his empire going and growing. Now his daughter has become the subject of controversy, proving that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
His daughter, Theresa is being sued for sexual harassment. The magazine’s West Coast District Manager, Steven Prescott filed a suit in Los Angeles on Friday July 1st, alleging he was subjected to repeated harassment. A sexual harassment lawyer can tell you that instances of female on male harassment isn’t as uncommon as one would think.
According to Prescott, Theresa, who works for the retail side of Hustler, sent him sexual text messages and touched him inappropriately. He alleges that over a two year period she would touch, grind and caress him, all her advances were unwanted. And at one point he claims she acknowledged the harassment by saying, “Oh my god, I’m totally sexually harassing you right now.”
Prescott said he reported the harassment to his superiors, but nothing was done to stop it. According to his suit, the work environment grew increasingly hostile, which is why it becomes necessary to hire a sexual harassment attorney.
Prescott is also Flynt Management, LFP Publishing Group, HH Entertainment and Hustler Sunset for unspecified damages.
Neither Hustler nor Theresa has commented about the allegations.
Sexual harassment lawyers have been fighting to end workplace harassment for decades and despite their hard work it is still a common problem.
