The
New York Knicks have added another piece to their push for an Eastern
Conference playoff berth as they traded Jerome James, Tim Thomas and Anthony
Roberson to the Chicago Bulls for 10-year vet Larry Hughes.
Hughes
has been sitting on the Bulls bench for the past 16 games, logging a total of 0
minutes while falling out of favor in Chicago. The addition of Hughes should
provide the Knicks with a legitimate scoring threat in the back-court.
For
the Bulls the deal brings in another set of new faces as they just added Brad
Miller and John Salmons following a deal with the Sacramento Kings.
