When you use the chat function you will be able to chat with them using your computer’s camera. All it entails is downloading an app and then you will be ready to video chat. The new video chat feature will allow you to chat with multiple people, and comment on news feeds within video chat. Not sure if they have had this in the works for a while or it came in the need to one-up Google’s new social networking site, which touted its uniqueness, because of the video chat feature.
The feature will also allow users to leave video messages for people not online. The feature rolls out to everyone in the next few weeks. Facebook has also changed the appearance of chat.
Will this new feature eclipse the new Google social network, and keep Facebook in the number one slot of most visited and most frequently used in SEO optimization? Google might be the leader in search but Facebook is still the leader in social networking.
