Angels in Waiting Offers Octuplet Mom Nadya Suleman Help

A California-based nonprofit organization has offered octuplet mom Nadya Suleman around-the-clock help with her 14 children.

Following the January birth of Suleman’s eight babies, Angels in Waiting offered Suleman 24 hour care for the octuplets as well as a place for her family to stay. The organization says they haven’t heard back of Suleman, so they made their offer public on The Early Show.

Angels in Waiting is an organization that provided care for high-risk, premature, medically-fragile infants. They estimated their offer to Suleman to cost over $130,000 per month.

Suleman,33,  came under fire after it was discovered she underwent in vitro fertilization to conceive the babies when she had six other children at home and no clear source of income.

In a recent interview with NBC, the single mother insisted she will be able to provide for her children after she returns to college and gets a degree. She also rejected claims that she and her family are on welfare. Suleman has admitted that she receives $490 every month in food stamps.
