Coldplay in Melbourne, Australia for Three Shows at Rod Laver Arena Beginning March 3

Coldplay, winners of seven Grammy Awards including three at the 2009 awards show, will be in Melbourne, Australia on March 3 for their first of three shows at the Rod Laver Arena. Coldplay will follow their opening night show with performances on March 4 and 5 before heading to Boondall for a pair of shows.

Prior to their shows in Melbourne the quartet will be in Perth for shows on Feb. 27 and 28 at the Burswood Dome, their opening dates on a string of shows Down Under.  

After four shows in Sydney beginning March 11 at Acer Arena Coldplay will travel to Auckland New Zealand for two shows at Vector Arena and then they’re off to Singapore, Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi.

Coldplay is touring to support their most recent album Viva la Vida which produced a Grammy for Song of the Year (Viva la Vida), Best Rock Album, and the band grabbed a Best Vocal Pop Performance by a Duo or Group.
