eLearners Seeks Affiliates to Help Veterans Redeem Benefits towards Education

Due to changes to the post-9/11 GI Bill taking effect on August 1, 2011, eLearners is seeking to bolster its affiliate program in the Share Results network to ensure that eligible veterans are aware of the educational opportunities they are entitled to, and the means by which these benefits can be redeemed.

eLearners, a premier education lead aggregator, offers its affiliates a substantial payout of up to $40 for each verified US or Canadian lead. Affiliates also have access to one of the largest databases of accredited online colleges and online degrees, interactive search box widgets, high-quality banner ads, real-time reporting, and an experienced affiliate management team that will help you optimize your campaigns.

The new post-9/11 GI Bill is available to Air Force, Navy, Army, and Marines on active duty and veterans who served after September 10, 2001 for 90 aggregate days of active-duty service or 30 continuous days prior to discharge with a service-connected disability. Unlike the previous bill, the new GI Bill is free of any enrolment fees.

Under the new GI Bill, benefits allotted to veterans depend on the length of military service, the state where the college is located, if that college is a private or public school, and if the student is taking resident classes, online classes, or a combination of both. The payout benefits operate on a progressive scale correlated with service time, beginning with 40% coverage for a service period ranging from 90 days to 6 months and culminating with 100% coverage for 36 months’ service, or at least 30 days on active duty and a discharge due to a service-connected disability.

“We seek to ensure that no Canadian or US veteran forgoes an education due to a lack of knowledge regarding possible benefits,” said Kristel Picinic, Media Account Manager at EducationDynamics. “Affiliates joining our program will be able to earn money marketing for a genuinely good cause.”

Additionally, the new GI Bill offers more extensive benefit transferability to family members, housing and book stipends, and an expanded benefit period spanning 15 years from the last period of active duty of at least 90 aggregate days or more.

“eLearners is a tremendous site that helps its users access the resources necessary to attain an education,” said Share Results CEO John McArthur. “By working closely with eLearners and our network of affiliates, we hope to bring the possibility of education to as many veterans and active military members as possible.”
