Casey Anthony will only spend 6 more days in jail, a court spokesperson announced Thursday shortly after Anthony’s sentencing. Anthony was acquitted Tuesday of first degree murder, aggravated manslaughter and aggravated child abuse in the 2008 death of her daughter Caylee Anthony. She was convicted of four counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
Judge Belvin Perry sentenced the 25-year-old to 1 year in prison for each count of providing false information. Anthony, who spent nearly 3 years in jail awaiting trial, was credited for time served and good behavior. Her release date was set for Wednesday, July 13.
