Cairo Rocked by Explosion, Several Reported Injured

Egypt’s capital city of Cairo has been rocked by an explosion near a popular tourist area and several people have been reported to be injured.

There has been no official word on what caused the blast or if it may have been tied to terrorism.

The explosion took place in a historic area of Cairo that is said to attract a large number of tourists.
