6-Year-Old California Girl Killed by Falling Television

A 6-year-old California girl was killed on Sunday morning after she accidentally pulled a 32-inch television set off a dresser on to herself.

It is unclear whether the girl was trying to pull something else off the dresser or trying to turn the television on but the set toppled over and fell directly on top of her. She was rushed to an Arcadia hospital but was declared dead shortly after arrival.

El Monte police do not suspect foul-play, calling the death an “unfortunate tragedy.”
