NBA Scores: Boston Celtics Go On the Road and Crush Denver Nuggets

Ray Allen finished with 26 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, Paul Pierce added 22 points and 6 boards and Rajon Rondo went for 14 points while pulling down 8 boards and dishing out 8 assists as the Boston Celtics (46-12) went on the road and crushed the Denver Nuggets (37-20) 114-76 on Monday night.

Rondo scored 11 points in the opening frame while Allen chipped in 8 as the Celtics built a 29-20 advantage heading into the second quarter. Boston pushed their lead to 13hen closed the half with an 11-1 run that put them in front 60-37 at the break.

The second half was more of the same for the Nuggets as they had no way of stopping the Celtics who hit 14 three-pointers in the game with Allen hitting 6-11 and Pierce hitting 4-7. In comparison Denver was just 3-21 from the same distance.
