Tiger
Woods is ready to make his comeback to competitive golf as the 14-time major
winner gets ready to tee off at the WGC-Accenture Match Play in Arizona on
Wednesday.
Woods
was forced out of action for eight months following reconstructive surgery on
his left knee following a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament as well as a
double stress fracture in his tibia in the same leg.
The
33-year-old hasn’t played since he ended his 2008 season with a dramatic win at
the US Open at Torrey Pine last June.
On
Wednesday Woods will be facing Australian Brendan Jones in the opening round.
Woods’
14 major titles trails only Jack Nicklaus who won 18 over his career.
