Several Shot Along Mardi Gras Parade Route in New Orleans
Police
have arrested two people who now stand accused of shooting several people along
a parade route marking the final day of Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
At
least six people were injured when gunfire erupted near St. Charles Av. and 2nd
Street as revelers were winding down on Fat Tuesday, the final day of Mardi
Gras.
While
no word has been released on the extent of the injuries is believed none were
life-threatening.
