Ed Doud, Nadya Suleman Dad, Asks Oprah for Help

In a new episode of Oprah, the father of octuplet mom Nadya Suleman asks the talk show host for help. Ed Doud sits down for an interview with Oprah and discusses his daughter’s decision to have the octuplets when she already had six children at home and no clear source of income.

“Do you think your daughter is mentally stable?” Oprah asks Doud.

“That’s a very good question,” he says. “I’m not a psychiatrist, but I question her mental situation. I need her to be evaluated.”

At the end of the segment Oprah reveals she has agreed to Doud’s request for help in getting Nadya mentally examined.
