Indian Authorities Monitoring Hostile Groups Following Deadly Attacks

A day after a series of deadly attacks in Mumbai, authorities say they are monitoring “groups hostile to India” in an effort to determine who was responsible for the explosions. Authorities and forensic experts are also examining evidence collected from each attack site.

"All groups hostile to India are under radar. We are not ruling out anything. We're not ruling in anything. We're looking at everyone and we will find out who is behind these attacks,” said Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram.

The three explosions occurred Wednesday evening within 8 to 10 minutes of one another in the areas of Opera House, Zaveri Bazaar and Dadar. Eighteen people were killed and 131 others were wounded. Chidambaram said the timing of the blasts proves “it was a coordinated terror attack.”
