Models SueLyn Mederios and Claudia Jodan were cruising around in Hollywood, Wednesday night when the sideswiped a parked car. Police were nearby and pulled the duo over.
Mederios was driving the car, and when she opened the signature gull-wing doors of her DeLorean, the police noticed a strong odor of alcohol. She dinged up the side of her expensive car to boot.
Celebrity gossip kings, TMZ taped the whole event. The police administered field sobriety tests, which the model failed. Even though she is facing serious charges she is seen giggling through the whole process. During the sobriety tests, Mederios repeatedly flirted with the police and boasted about being a rich model. At least she’s rich, because now she will have to hire the best DUI attorney she can find.
A breathalyzer revealed that her blood alcohol level was .14, almost twice California’s legal limit. She was arrested, and in jail on $45,000 dollar bond, which was so high because she had an outstanding warrant.
A DUI lawyer will confirm the fact that an intoxicated driving charge is not a laughing matter. The fines and penalties can be harsh. Some intoxicated drivers face jail time and loss of driver’s license.
